Luther McKindree Lasater Jr.'s Obituary
LASATER, LUTHER MCKINDREE JR., of Terrell, TX left this earth at 10:31 PM, May 6, 2007 to be with his Lord and Savior. Luther served in the Navy from 1942 to 1945. Preceding Luther are sons, L.M. Lasater III and David Lasater. His parents, L.M. Lasater Sr. & Jassimine Wade Lasater; and brother, James Wade Lasater. Luther is survived by his wife of 62 years, Berta Sue Thompson Lasater; sons, Marvin Lee and Ronald Wayne Lasater; daughter-in-law, Mrs. R.W. (Arlene) Lasater; grandchildren, R.B. Lasater, Megan Drannon & husband Adam, all of Aba, OK. Also survived by brothers, Robbie Lasater & wife Leota, Bobby Lasater & wife, Cloine, both of Ft. Worth, TX; brother Terry “Joe” Lasater of Louisiana; sisters, Betty Jean Young of Ft. Worth and Virginia Sue “Susie” Esbell & husband Lucky of Azle, TX; several nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews; and close and “adopted” into our family, Jim & Jo Ervin of Plano, Mike McMillan of Alpine, and Mikey “Mike” McMillan of Dallas. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 10, 2007 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
