Even though I hadn't seen Aunt Lyda Ruth for many years, my memories of her are vivid. She was always so sweet to me, and I have missed seeing her all of these years. Dorothy, thank you for putting her on the phone with me when she was celebrating her 90th birthday. Bobbie
Dorothy, So sorry to hear about your Mom's passing, Mom told me about it and I tried to find your phone number in the church directory but could not. I guess officially I was a cousin. But to me it was always Uncle Curtis and Aunt Lyda Ruth. It has been too many years that I have not been in touch with her and her family. But I have such fond memories of growing up and being at their home. She was always so gracious, loving and kind to me and my parents. I always thought she was so beautiful. I was very sorry to hear of Aunt Lyda's death – she was a second mother to me and I was priviliged to have her as my aunt. My condolences to the rest of the family – I share your grief.
