We will miss your wonderful face and enthusiasm for the Lord's work
Heavenly Father our dearest Aunt Lydia has come home to you. She was your faithful steward of your word, welcome her into your kingdom, may she rest always in peace knowing how much she was cherished. She worked tiredlessly sharing her boundless energy with Lighthouse spreading your light and love to the many children she worked with. She was an inspiration to all her knew her as she fought stomach cancer miraculously for years. Coming from hardworking stock she had that yankee moxie, that strength and determination to accomplish whatever task before her. Possessed with a nature to do her duty. She was fun and we would laugh when riding in the car, "ok, here we go, turning lean left!" Aaah we would all be smooshed! Always the consumate lady though, sit up straight, "legs crossed at the ankles Lisa not the knees" hands in your lap. At Easter white hat, white gloves, white purse and shoes she nourished a highspirited dignified gentleness that was timeless. I will remember her smiling with laughter in her heart saying "aye Mehita!" Thank you Heaven for sharing her with us all. She was such a blessing to me.
LYDIA was my Dearest Friend since 1968 when we worked together at Zenith Radio Corporation in Chicago. At this sad time, may it help to know how many hearts are touched by your loss, how many thoughs are with you and your family. With Deepest Sympathy, Margie Jakubowski
We will always remember Aunt Lydia. With her, we went from being little girls to her mijas. Though we didn't see her as often as we both would have liked, we both miss her and love her.

I have fond memories of my Aunt Lydia – she will always have a special place in my heart.
She will live on in our memories–my condolences to family and friends.
We worked with Mrs. Lydia at the Lighthouse. She was an amazing person. She always was so concerned about everyone. I wonder where she got so much strength? She was so nice to us all the time. We love her always and will never forget her.
We had the previledge of working with Lydia and Rudy at the Lighthouse Mission in apartment complex for several years. She was a tower of strenth for all the residents there as well as those who worked with her. She had a purpose drivn life and did not waiver in that purpose. She was a real warrior in God's army. We will all miss her. Rudy has been by her side in all her endeavors.
