Lynda Lou Hopkins was born on June 05, 1929 in Heath, Texas and passed away on December 31, 2017 in Rowlett, Texas.She is preceded in death by her parents, Claudia and Herman Jones; husband, Homer Hopkins and sister, Theola BarnesLynda was a 1946 graduate of Rockwall High School. She was an active member of the White Rock Methodist Church were she loved to volunteer her time. Lynda also enjoyed traveling and spending time with her cherished friendsLynda is survived by her sons, Brad and Brian Hopkins; daughter-in-law, Kristal Hopkins; grandchildren, Christopher, Jonathan, Brice, Jakob and Jessica Hopkins; great grandchildren, Callen and Ethan Hopkins; nieces; nephews and many special friends.The funeral service for Lynda will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior.
