Lyndabel E. Martin's Obituary
Lyndabel Elizabeth Henry Martin went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 2, 2015. She is survived by her dear husband, Pat; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Barbara Henry; and her miniature schnauzers. Born May 21, 1938 in Dallas, Texas. Her most rewarding Christian service came from serving as a member of a Heart Ministry at the First Baptist Church of Richardson by using her talents as a poet and photohrapher to create personal greeting cards to send to those in need of encouragement. A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, her career with Events Unlimited occupied her weekdays, but after hours, she could be found at the golf course. Visitation will be from 6:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, August 6, 2015. A celebration of her life will be held Friday, August 7, 2015 at 2:30pm at Restland Memorial Chapel. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243 at Restland Road. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
