Lyndle Owen Savage's Obituary
Lyndle Savage of Mesquite, Texas passed away suddenly but peacefully, Saturday, October 9, 2021, with his loving family by his side.
Lyndle was born January 1, 1932 in Trenton, Texas to Floyd and Josie Savage who preceded him in death as well as a sister, Glydle Wiley, a very special son-in-law, Guy Bevering and sister-in-law, Joveda Savage.
He graduated from Trenton High School and retired from General Motors in 1992 after 38 years of service.
Lyndle is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Arlene Savage, his 2 loving daughters, Donna Savage of Dallas, Texas and Debra Bevering and his precious and only grandchild, Jake Bevering of Charlie, Texas who was loved so deeply. He is also survived by a dear brother, Maxie Savage of Godley, Texas, dear sister and brother-in-law, Rita and Monroe Wallis of Godley, Texas along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives whom he loved dearly.
Lyndle was a devoted husband and exceptional father who was happiest when they were all around him.
He loved keeping a beautiful yard and worked hard at it until summer of this year when the Lord told him to slow down and take it easy, which he did, but God had better plans in the end.
He will be missed so much by all of us that words can't describe.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 10:00 am with Funeral Service to begin at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at The Wildwood Chapel inside Restland Memorial Park.
