Lynn Ellis- Frye's Obituary
Mrs. Lynn Ellis-Frye, age 74, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024, In Sachse, Texas. She was born to Mr. Robert P. Hooks and Mrs. Lucia S. Hooks on Wednesday, December 21, 1949, in Ithaca, New York. Lynn is preceded in death by husband Douglas R Frye, her father, mother, and brother Peter Hooks. Lynn is survived by her three sons, Robert Pulley, Joseph Ellis, and Richard Ellis, their spouses and her grandchildren, Avery, Emme, Keaton and Lucy Pulley, Dylan and Landyn Ellis, as well as a multitude of family and friends including her sisters Sylvia Fox and Katrina Shepherd, 12 nieces and nephews and their families. Lynn was a devout Christian, devoted mother, and fast friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed serving in many capacities at Church and volunteering with children. She enjoyed camping and any water related activities. She was always the life of the party and lit up a room with her vibrant personality and smile.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lynne Ellis-Frye will be held at 10:30am on Friday, October 25, 2024, at the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, Texas 75243. Visitation begins one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests tribute donations in Mrs. Lynn Ellis-Frye’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Association.
