Lynne Rae Kepner's Obituary
Lynne Rae Kepner age 90 born July 24,1924 in Corsicana,Tx died peacefully Sept. 20, 2014 in Garland, Tx surrounded by family & friends. She is proceeded in death by her mother & father Ruby Rae & Floyd C. Medford, husband Paul Kepner Jr., brother Floyd Medford & daughter Donna Kaye Parrish. She is survived by her daughter Susan Hawkins husband Doug, grandchildren Robin Roy husband CL, Bryan Kitching, Wesley Parrish wife Shannon & Dwayne Parrish. Great grandchildren Logan, MaKayla & Ethan Roy, Clayton Parrish, Drake Parrish, Rayce Milligan, Cathryn & Kennedy Kepner, and great great grandchild Giovanni Salazar & many extended family members. She retired from the corporate world after a long, successful & rewarding career in a mostly male dominated world. After a very short courtship with Paul they married. That relationship turned out very fulfilling and as equally successful. Which set the life model and high bar that has become our family’s example of what true happiness is in which we all strive for. After her retirement she continued as the senior buyer for our family. From seasonal wardrobes to full pantries that kept us all a little warmer a little cooler & in some cases just a little heavier for many years. She was a camera hound and was always ready for the next pose and that resonated to everyone within the reach of the shutter. Her love generosity & plain no holds bared advise will be sorely missed. Momma, Granny, Memaw, Lynne until we meet again…… Sleep well and we love you. Family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 pm on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service for Lynne will take place at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75238
