Mabel Louise Pinkerton's Obituary
Mabel Louise Pinkerton lovingly known as "Granny" went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, September 1, 2023. She was born Mabel Louise Gilbertson on December 18, 1929 to Gilbert and Clara Sophia Gilbertson in Valley City, North Dakota. Granny was a widow who loved nothing more than to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. For many years, she was an active member of Holly Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Dierks, Arkansas where she taught vacation bible school.
Mabel is survived by her son Walter C. Lechler, Jr. of Corpus Christi, TX, daughter Kathy White and son-in-law Albert White of Royse City, TX. Additionally, Granny leaves behind her five grandchildren Les White, Christi Robertson, J.C. Lechler, Alicia Lechler and Holly Jo Lechler and her niece Barbara Jeffcoat. Mabel was a beloved great grandmother to Ashley Jordan White, Eric Cade White, Phoebe Robertson, Stone Robertson, Hailey Aiko White, Luke White, Ada Jin Robertson, and Kinslee White.
Although Granny will be greatly missed, she leaves behind many wonderful memories for those that loved her.
