Mable Jean Sinkey, 86, loving mother and cherished Memaw, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018, from complications of pneumonia.She was born July 11, 1931, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and was preceded in death by her husband of forty years, Harley Sinkey. Jean is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Wayne Striegler; her four grandchildren: Brandon Horne and wife Trina, Randy Horne and wife Abby, Cody and Kaley Striegler; step-daughter Ann Williams; and step-grandchildren Monica Cruthirds and Bubba Williams.A tireless worker, Jean welcomed everyone into her heart, a place of warmth and understanding. She smiled with her eyes and laughed from her soul, and she valued the love of her friends and family above all else. Jean had a non-wavering belief in God, voicing His goodness in her final days. She was grateful for His blessings, found comfort in His timing and welcomed His call when it arrived.She will be missed.A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2018, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at The Heights Chapel located at 201 W Renner Rd, Richardson, TX 75080 followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM at The Heights Chapel.Funeral arrangements for Ms. Mable Jean Sinkey have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
