Mack Glenn Milliorn's Obituary
MILLIORN, MACK GLENN passed away peacefully in McKinney, TX on June 4, 2013 where he resided for the past 18 years. Mack was born in Emory, TX June 3, 1932, to Marvin and Myrtle Milliorn. The family moved to Dallas when Mack was 10 years old. He served in the Marine Corp from 1953-1957 and attended Southern Methodist University, where he received his BBA. His career was with Texas Power and Light and then for Taylor Publishing Co. Mack was a very active member of Custer Road United Methodist Church, serving as President of the Care Ministry and as Shepherd for the Children’s Ministry. He was involved with many adult Bible classes, as well as a member of the Positive Thinkers Sunday School Class. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Margaret; his children, son, Greg of Dallas; daughter, Kemberly and son-in-law, Robert McGinty of Princeton, TX, and son, Michael and daughter-in-law, Christina and granddaughter, Kelly of McKinney, TX. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 7, 2013 at Custer Road United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Care Ministry of Custer Road United Methodist Church, 6601 Custer Road, Plano, TX 75023.
