Macon Randolph Wills' Obituary
WILLS, MACON RANDOLPH, age 88, passed away after a short illness April 30, 2011 at his home. Longtime resident of Carrollton, TX. Lived in Atlanta, GA for 23 years, before being transferred to Carrollton in 1972. Macon was born in Mountain City, TN, Feb. 2, 1923. Survived by wife, June Sasser Wills of Carrollton; daughter, Gail Peacock of Greensboro, GA; son, Richard Wills of Carrollton; son-in-law, Gary Peacock of Greensboro, GA; grandson, Justin Peacock of Greensboro, GA; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters, Lucille Forness of Tucker, GA, Alice Shaun of Mechanicsburg, PA. Preceded in death, mother and father, Mountain city, TN; brothers, Bill Wills, Jacksonville, FL and John Wills, Shouns, TN; sisters, Mary Nave, Murphy, N.C., Jane Ford Wills, Shouns, TN and Jennie Cole, Decatur, GA. Macon retired from Simmons Bed Company after 44 years. He was a member of Rainbow Park Baptist Church, Decatur, GA. He served with the 2nd marine Amphibian DUKW Company in the Pacific during World War II. Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM, Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Restland Memorial Park in the Court of Good Shepherd. Visitation will be from 6:00Pm – 8:00PM, Monday, May 2, 2011 at Restland Funeral Home.
