Madge Bond's Obituary
Madge Rutherford Bond was born March 23, 1923 in Anna, Texas to Hosea and Grace Rutherford. Passed away June 20, 2016 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 93 years, 2 months, 27 days. Preceded in death by her parents, husband William (Bill) H. Bond, Brothers: Glen and Guy Rutherford; Sisters: Olene Covington, Elizabeth Shelley, Jimmie Hale. Survived by Son: Douglas Antwiler and wife, Linda of Texline; Daughters: Glynda Thompson of Richardson, Vonnie Salguero and husband, Mario of Dallas, Kathy Blackmon of Anna, 8 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Granddaughter. She was known to them as Nannie. Step-son: David Bond, Step-daughter: Debbie Thomas Sisters: Jo Lee and husband Lewis of San Antonio, Bobbie White of Hooks Numerous nieces and nephews. She became a Christian at age 9. While living in Collin County she was active in WMU and served as Sunbeam Director. She retired from the Nursing profession at age 70 after 35 years of service. After joining First Baptist Richardson her love for music led her to become involved in the Sanctuary Choir and the Goldenaires. She was a member of Dr. Morgan’s Sunday School Class The visitation for Madge Bond will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, June 22, 2016 at Restland Funeral Home. The service for Madge will be held at 10:00 AM, June 23, 2016 at First Baptist Church, Richardson.
