When my granddaughter was born, Madge was 75. My daughter had to go back to work when the baby was 16 days old. I went and stayed one week when she was born and got to meet Madge. To this day I still cry when I think of Madge and how thankful I was that my daughter had her to watch my precious grandchild until she was old enough for daycare. I will forever be indebted to Madge and I have tried for 21 years to send her a Christmas card and picture of that child that she so graciously took into her care in 1993.
