Mae Nix Allen's Obituary
Mae Nix Allen, 93, died July 1, 2015 in Richardson, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. Born May 9, 1922, near Hamilton, Mississippi, she was married to the late Dwain N. Allen. The Allens made their home in Richardson for many years where Mrs. Allen was involved in the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile and her church. She is survived by her daughter Bettye Allen McGinness, her granddaughter Amanda Elizabeth McGinness, both of Ruidoso, NM, and her great grandson Michael Alexander McGinness of Dallas. Mrs. Allen was predeceased in death by her husband, her grandson Mark Andrew McGinness, her son-in-law Mack Allen McGinness, five brothers, one sister and her parents. Service will be Friday, July 3 at 12:30 pm at Wildwood Chapel of Restland Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. James O. Young will officiate.
