Mae Autry Stallings' Obituary
Age 91, passed away in her Winnsboro, Texas home on April 3, 2015. With her were her daughters Sue Anders, Anna Smith and Janet Ross Cotten, and son-in-law Larry Smith. Her beloved grandsons Kirk Anders, Heath Smith, Oliver Ross and Ryon Ross also made their way to their grandmother’s side during her final days. Mae was born September 29, 1923, in McAlester, Oklahoma, to Nellie Compelube and Oliver O. Poston. In 1942, she married the love of her life, Clyde E. Stallings, and carried on to celebrate 51 years of marriage before his passing in 1994. She will be loved, missed and remembered by those she leaves here who include her daughters and sons in law; her grandsons and their wives, Jennifer Anders, Rebekah Smith and Kandi Ross; and her great-grandchildren, Tallulah Bird Anders; Hayden, Hannah and Ella Smith; and Lane and Lindy Ross. Her love and appreciation go to all those whose paths crossed hers. Funeral Service for Mae will take place at 12:30 pm on Monday, April 6, 2015 at The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. She would be honored for any gifts or tokens of remembrance to go to the Blessing Box of Central Christian Church in Winnsboro, Texas.
