Major David Scott Baugh's Obituary
Major David S. Baugh, loving husband, father, and grandfather was born August 6, 1932, and died April 10, 2013. He was a pilot in the US Air Force who served in Vietnam. Throughout his career he flew B-47s, T-37s, B-52s and F-105s. He survived a B52 crash and went on to become a civilian flight instructor in Wichita. David is survived by his wife, Joy Hogan Baugh; son, Alan Baugh and wife, Kristine and granddaughter Rachel Baugh all of Dallas. He was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, a member of the Civitan Club of Wichita and the Happy Warriors of Dallas. Preceding David in death were his parents, Walter and Bertha Baugh; sister, Nancy Prosser; and daughter, Diana Baugh. Memorials can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the charity of your choice. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home.
