Gene Malcolm Richardson's Obituary
RICHARDSON, GENE MALCOLM was born on May 1, 1922, in Blue Ridge, Texas and died on August 8, 2014, in Bonham, Texas. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathleen, and his second wife, Elsie; his parents, Vertries and Lucille; and his sisters, Frances and Marguerite. He is survived by his daughters, Kay; and Candy and husband, Bob; and his son, Roger and wife, Liese; his son, Gabriel; his brother, Lonny and wife, Tammi; his grandchildren, Julianne, Elizabeth, Amy, Preston, Gunner, and Isaak; and his great-grandchildren, Ashton, Rachael, and Cameron, and numerous nieces and nephews. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, as a tail-gunner in a B-17, stationed in England. A service will be held Friday, August 22, at 10:00 AM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, in Dallas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
