I was blessed to know Mamie for over 25 years; we worshipped together, fellowshipped together, went to concerts, and always had a great time talking about our families, especially our grandchildren. Although Mamie talked softly when I heard her sing for the first time, I was amazed that she had one of the most beautiful voices I’ve ever heard. I’m going to miss my sweet friend.
