Mansfield Via's Obituary
VIA, M.C., 84 of Dallas. Born August 16, 1922 in Stamford, TX and went to be with the Lord on March 15, 2007. He was a member of the Oak Lawn United Methodist Church. Mr. Via graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School, served as a Staff Sergeant in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He is survived by former wife Ida Ruth Via; son, Robert Via; 2 grandchildren, Amanda Deon and Lisa Hickman; 2 great-grandchildren, Alex Deon and John Hickman, Jr.; son-in-law, John Hickman; sister, Margaret Ann Pesek and husband Ed; nephew, Paul Pesek and niece, Carol Ann Lowes. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m Monday, March 19, 2007 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be 12:30 p.m Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
