Manuel Hilario Hernandez's Obituary
Manuel Hilario Hernandez, 81, died in Dallas, TX on May 7, 2020. He was born on Jan. 14, 1939 in Chicago, IL. to Eladio Juarez Hernandez and Silveria Louise Hernandez (nee Martinez). He is survived by his first wife, Susan Maria Hernandez (nee Martinez) and their six children – Sons: Eladio Juan Hernandez and wife Andrea; Roberto Luis Hernandez and wife Christina. Daughters: Maria Elena Hernandez; Judith Felicia Hernandez-Seeley and husband Larry; Anna Mercedes Rodriguez and husband Vicente; Jessica Hilary Cano and husband Jose. He is survived by 26 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; Sisters – Maria Garza; Julia Macias and husband Danny. Brother-Frank Castillo. He leaves behind many nephews and nieces. He is also survived by his wife’s children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Manual grew up in Dallas, TX and graduated from Crozier Tech in 1958. He served in the Army Reserves. He worked for American National Insurance Co. as an agent, The Marriott at DFW Airport, and Life & Casualty Insurance. He retired from The Warrington as a security guard. He enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Texas Rangers Baseball fan. Manuel is preceded in death by his wife Margaret, his parents, his brothers Jose Roberto Hernandez and Onesimo Hernandez M.D., granddaughter Christina Hernandez and brother-in-law Carlos Garza. Services will be at Restland Funeral Home. Visitation: Monday 5/11/20 from 3pm-5pm.
