Manuel Angel Velez, 66 from Anasco, Puerto Rico passed away at his home in Dallas, Texas on July 2, 2020.
Manuel A. Velez, also known as Manny or Nekito enjoyed listening to music from "la Vieja Escuela-old school," like salsa, merengue, and boleros. He loved Puerto Rican and Mexican foods. He enjoyed to watch sports on TV and spending time with his dog Samantha. For 20 years he worked with C&C Wholesale Distributors as an Inside Sales Manager where he made many good friends.
He is survived by his wife, Silvia Velez; his children, Adienex Velez, Manuel A. Velez Jr., and Allison M. Velez; and his grandchildren, Diante' D. Lyles-Velez, Ezequiel M. Velez, Darius M. Lyles-Velez, and Maximus M. Velez; his twin brother, Julio Velez from Lancaster, Pennsylvania; and his nieces and nephews from Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. He was preceded in death by his sister, Myriam E. Velez from Isabela, Puerto Rico.
