Born on December 24, 1943 in Bastrop, Texas and passed away on March 23, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. She is preceded in death by her son, Lucas Flores II; father, Juan Torres; sister, Rosa Selvera; mother, Luciana Pacheco; brother, George Torres and first husband, Adan Alvarez. Manuela is survived by her husband, Librado Alejandro; daughter, Fidencia Flores Deffren; son-in-law, Anthony Deffren; son, Lucas Flores ; daughter-in-law, Cristina Flores; sisters, Patrocinia Rodriguez, Guadalupe Samarripa; brothers, Belen Torres, Antonio Torres and beloved pets, Sissy, Bud, Beto, Amy and Macey. The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude for the overwhelming outpour of support during this most difficult time. The visitation for Manuela will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Restland Memorial Chapel, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. The funeral service for Manuela will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 27, 2015 at he Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe, 2215 Ross Avenue Dallas, Texas 75201 with procession to Final Resting Place.
