Marcia Louise Stuart's Obituary
Marcia Louise Stuart was born in Galesburg, Illinois on May 18, 1928, she died of natural causes in her sleep in Dallas on August 24, 2019Marcia Anderson moved to Dallas from St. Louis with her family in 1946. She attended SMU, majoring in physical education. Fascinated with flying, she saved enough money and went to a little airport on Coit Road and took a lesson with James Henry Stuart. It was love at first sight for both. They were engaged in 10 days and married soon after on June 21, 1947.Marcia was very athletic, playing tennis, biking, jogging and sailing. Sailing became a sport that she and Henry enjoyed together in their later years. Their boat was named the “Miss Marcia.” She loved flowers and gardening and played bridge. Mostly she loved studying the bible with her friends and praying for others. She loved all people and had friends all across the world, and she deeply loved her family. She was the sweetest, kindest, most loving and Godly woman.She is preceded in death by Henry, 2008 and her parents Clarice and Andy Anderson and her sister Beverly Mostram. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Mickey, Sam and Belinda and Ann and Greg. Her grandchildren, Margaux, Elizabeth,Wynne, Cliff, Hallie, Grace Ann, Sally and Kitty and 9 great grandchildren.Memorial service will be at CC Young in Dallas, Wednesday, August 28, at 3:30 p.m.Funeral arrangements for Ms. Marcia Louise Stuart have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
