Mardi was our engagement and wedding photographer when we were married in 1978. We were introduced to her and to Cliff by my parents, Lach and Winnie Vass. My parents were retired missionaries, and my dad was working as Asst. Business Manager at HPPC. I remember how delightful, fun, and and upbeat Mardi was and how comfortable she made us both feel whenever pictures were being taken. We are grateful she was such a special part of our lives, and we are thankful for her gifts and her service throughout her years. Lach and Winnie died five years ago, and we still miss them. Trip and Robin, you must know how much I loved your parents and your family. I feel your loss tremendously. Your mother was such a precious person and always had a kind word and a smile for everyone! I loved coming to your house since it was the most fun, unusual house in the whole neighborhood! I remember your mom entrusting me to care for those darling Bedlington terriers when you all were on a trip somewhere.
