Margaret Karlen Brooks of Carrollton, Texas passed away peacefully on Monday, November 11, 2019 in Plano, Texas. She celebrated 98 years on this Earth.Margaret Karlen Brooks was born on Tuesday, April 19, 1921 in Dallas Texas to her loving parents: Charlie Karlen and Myrtle Bethurum Karlen. She was married to Mr. Frank Brooks and, together, they made their life in the Dallas Fort Worth Area. She was a proud member of the P.E.O Sisterhood (Philanthropic Educational Organization) and was a wonderful homemaker to her family.Margaret Karlen Brooks will be sincerely missed by her beloved family, including her husband, Frank Brooks, and her daughter, Marietta Huynh; her devoted friends and all of the individuals who were fortunate enough to know her and love her.Margaret Karlen Brooks will be laid to rest at Restland Cemetery.
