Margaret Ida Caffey's Obituary
Ms. Margaret Caffey, age 94, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, in Richardson, Texas. She was born to Sidney Amory and Effie Ester Page on November 11, 1929, in Lolita, Texas. She will be sincerely missed by her loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.
On June 7, 1947, she married the love of her life, Nolan O. Caffey. They would remain happily married until his death in 2005. Margaret loved quilting, sewing and fishing. She worked for Sears, as a cashier until her retirement.
Margaret is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Nolan O. Caffey. Also, by her parents and grandparents.
To cherish her memory will be her children: son, Philip N Caffey of Richardson, Texas; daughter, Judy Caffey Burroughs and husband Thomas of Dallas, Texas. She will also be lovingly remembered by her brother, Bill Page and wife Pat of Scurry, Texas; grandchildren: Keith Caffey and wife Patricia of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; Michael Burroughs and wife LaRay, Steven Burroughs and Bill Burroughs, all from Dallas, Texas. She will also be remembered by her great-grandchildren: Kendall Burroughs, Cadence Burroughs, Landon and wife Kylie Caffey, and Laken Caffey; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Monday, February 5, 2024, from 9:00am to 10:00am, with the funeral service immediately following at 10:00am in the Wildwood Chapel.
