Mrs. Margaret Lucille Clay's Obituary
CLAY, MARGARET S., was born April 18, 1916 and was raised in Joplin, Missouri. She earned her B.S. in Music Education at TWU. She moved to Dallas in 1943 and taught 3rd grade in the DISD till retirement. In 1946 she married Henry L. Clay. She is survived by two sons, Steve Clay & wife Marsha and Fredrick Stone & wife Beverly; grandchildren, Alex Stone, Lee Clay, and Lacey Clay Liggitt and husband Jeffrey. Will Liggett is her great grandson. Margaret was a member of Gaston Oaks Baptist Church. She was also a Life Member of Lone Starr Chapter 124 of the NAWCC. Memorials may be made to Center for Brain Health, University of Texas at Dallas, 2200 W. Mockingbird Ln., Dallas, TX 75235. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Friday, December 29th at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be 10 AM Saturday, December 30th at Restland Wildwood Chapel with Dr. George Mason officiating.
