Margaret Ethel Gaylard Burns' Obituary
Margaret Gaylard Burns, age 86, of Richardson, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2011. She was born Margaret Ethel Gaylard on June 24, 1924 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bradley Burns, and her siblings Dividette, Fred, and Wesley. She and Brad were long-time members of the Canyon Creek Country Club. She is survived by her step-daughters, Michelle Burns Ruff and Paula Smith McDaniel, two grandsons and their wives, Michael and Joyce Ruff and Matthew and Jennifer Ruff, great-grandson Joseph Ruff, niece Ruth Gaylard Davis, nephews Richard Wright, Boyce Wright, and Samuel Betts, and other family members. Friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday, January 16, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Restland in Dallas, TX and to her memorial service at 10:00 am on January 17, at Restland’s Wildwood Chapel. For those desiring, memorials can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Susan G. Komen Foundation, or Alzheimer’s Association. —
