Margaret Ann Hogg's Obituary
Margaret (Peggy) Ann Hogg 76, of Dallas, Texas died June 25, 2017 at Grace Presbyterian Village of complications from Alzheimer’s disease. She was born June 2, 1941 to Walker Edwards and Margaret Edwards in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She married Robert (Bob) Hogg on August 20, 1959 in Dallas, Texas. She was a fourth grade teacher at Dartmouth Elementary in Richardson for over twenty four years She was a graduate of Highland Park High School in 1959 and graduated from SMU in 1973 with a Bachelor of Education. Margaret was a member and Post President, twice of The Bayuiece Book Club and a lifetime member of First Presbyterian Church, where she volunteered for Stewpot and projects. She enjoyed sewing, cross-stitch, yard work and camping with her family. Preceded in death by her son, Donald E. Hogg; parents, Walker Edwards and Margaret Edwards. Margaret is survived by her husband, Robert (Bob) D. Hogg; daughter, Ann-Marie, and husband, Scott Hunter; son, Chaly Balanza and his wife, Kerry and daughters, Kay and Audrey; grandchildren, Sarah, Jacob, Hunter, Dylan Hogg and fiancé, Savannah Valderas. A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Dallas at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 15, 2017. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to First Presbyterian Church of Dallas, Women of the Church or to Grace Presbyterian Village caring fund.
