Margaret Eleanor Kennedy's Obituary
Born on January 9, 1945 in Sherman, Texas and passed away on November 12, 2015 in Garland, Texas. Born to Charles and Eleanor Kocian. She graduated from W.W. Samuel High School and attended Texas Tech in Lubbock. Peggy worked for Garland ISD where she met Leon Kennedy. They were together for 26 happy years. She loved to sing and she and Leon were avid square dancers. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leon, and her parents. She leaves behind her daughter, Shannon Terry, granddaughters, Sydney and Delaney Delgado, her sister, Carol O’ Rand, nieces, Tammy Schmitt and Karen McClelland, step daughters, Kristin Robertson, Karen Hayes and Karla Kennedy. Our many thanks to the hospice caregivers of VNA and the staff at Winters Park for the wonderful care given to Peggy. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 6:00- 8:00 PM Services will be held on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 10:00 AM at The Restland Wildwood Chapel. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
