Marg was such an energetic and joyful lady and friend. God gifted Marg with an incredible personality full of love, warmth and curiosity. I ALWAYS enjoyed my telephone conversations (and in person) with Marg b/c she stayed interested in my life, always asking lots of questions about my teenage son (Andrew) and my husband Jim...and even my mischievous and ADORABLE dog, Winnie. I could actually look forward to talking to Marg b/c I knew our conversations would be engaging with lots of interesting topics to discuss - golf, my mother, retirement communities, local and national politics, shopping for good deals, etc. - Marg had a "youthful spirit" and she never forgot any details about various things we discussed...... And she had a cute sense of humor! I hosted a Cabi Clothing trunk show several years ago and Marg attended and bought a jacket! She was one of the few ladies that actually came to my house and purchased a piece of clothing from my friend, Carla. What a trooper she was. Everyone LOVED meeting her b/c she was fun and conversational with her own unique style. Marg's life on this earth was a gift and a blessing to all who knew her. After reading her obituary and realizing she was from Iowa, I am convinced that people from the midwest are the kindest, most down to earth (not flashy, pretentious and materialistic Texans (Dallas people mainly)- sorry to generalize but it's true) and authentic people. Marg was and still is a beautiful lady! She is absent from this world but her final place of residency is in Heaven with her creator. This life is so temporary and fleeting but Marg lived and loved well and what an example she set! Fly High Marg! We love you!
