Condolences to Jan, Susan and Judy. My husband, Perry, was in Jan's class, and Judy was in mine - Hexter, Hill and BA. Also your mom taught Judy and me in Sunday school one year at First Community. What a long, wonderful life she had! I remember her sense of fun.
Sincerely,
Enid Meadows Hescock
Peggy and my mother, Lora Dobkins, were good friends for many years. I remember Peggy fondly. She was always interested in what we kids (my sister and I) were doing, as well as how we were doing. She was a light in the world. I know she will be missed.

I’m so sorry to hear of the death of your mom. She was the most vibrant of all the moms, so full of life. She was a women’s libber before there was such a thing. I loved talking with her when at your house. As an elementary school kid I thought she was the smartest person I knew. That might still be true today! My condolences to you and your family.

I was sadden today to see the notice of Peggy's passing. I had the pleasure to get to know her through the years through her passion for serving the University of North Texas as she and I both were UNT Foundation Board members. I fondly remember her appearances on campus as she always entered the room with her engaging smile. She was one of the most positive minded individuals that I ever met. I will miss her greatly.
