Our Nanny
What an amazing life lived on this earth, 105 years, 8 months and 15 days!!
Nanny is the absolute best person I have ever known this side of heaven. From the time I was a little girl up to my last conversation with her, she told me and taught me more about her best friend, Jesus, than anyone else. She constantly talked to her best friend about everything and told me to do the same. "Just tell Jesus you love him, he wants to hear it!" My Nanny’s prayers have been with me my whole life. I know that NO ONE has prayed for me like my Nanny has! She told me often how she talked to Jesus that day about me & my family. As a child, as a young mother, and now as a grandmother myself, Nanny set the example.
Thank you Jesus for this amazing, beautiful, Proverbs 31 Woman! The number of lives she touched are only known to God above but I know several and I am so blessed to be one.

Her room was finally ready for her. I just know she is telling Him face to face - "I LOVE YOU!!"

Nanny, 105 years old. Imagine seeing so much change in her time. No TV, horses still working, dirt floor homes, just unbelievable changes since 1919. She stayed healthy through her whole life and gave all the Glory to God and would be delighted to share her word of the Bible. She was church member and Sunday school teacher for a lot of her life. It is hard to believe that my grandparent generation are all gone now. I can hear my Grandads deep voice talking to Nanny always starting with "M. A." her initials. She was such a special person sharing her love and always being an approachable person for everyone. Genuinely the sweetest person one could ever meet. Her smile said a lot and always hoping the best for everyone. Our Family was deeply touched with her and she will be messed. Much love Nanny
