Margaret Louise Rawls' Obituary
Louise Rawls was born on June 17, 1930, in Nashville Tennessee, to Robert Manuel Pearce and Velma Alice Dixon Pearce, along with her identical twin sister, Mary Kathryn “Katie” Mansfield. She passed away on March 25, 2015, at the age of 84. She married Austin Rawls in 1949 in Tennessee, and shortly thereafter moved to Dallas and then Garland where she lived the remainder of her life. Louise is survived by her children, Don (Rhodie) Rawls of Waxahachie, TX; Dianne (Don) Yarborough of Garland, David (Evelyn) Rawls of Dallas, and Drew (Jill) of Mesquite; 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Judy Parnell from Alpharetta, GA and Velma Jean Atwood from Nashville, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband Austin Rawls in 1993, her daughter Debbi Diggs in 2012, and her twin sister Katie Mansfield in 2006. The graveside service will be at 3:00 PM on Friday, March 27, 2015 at Restland Memorial Park.
