Margaret Ann Stewart's Obituary
Margaret Ann Doyle Stewart, of Garland Texas, went home to Heaven on November 26, 2014. She was well-loved by many family and friends that will miss her dearly. Margaret was born on April 29, 1940 to M. Catherine Lamb and E. Lee Doyle in Van Alstyne, Texas. She was a loving Christian wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, aunt and Mimi. Her passions were her faith, family, children of Parker-Chase, and spending time with her life-long friends. She is survived by her husband of 53 years Larry Stewart, her son Mark Stewart, daughter Ellen Stewart and partner Matt Blomberg, her son James Stewart, his wife Kelly, and two grandchildren Amanda Stewart and Austin Stewart, her sisters Judy Higdon and Charlene Seago, brother Jim Doyle, brother-in-law Jim Stewart, his wife Vicki and many nieces and nephews. Margaret was a homemaker for the majority of her adult life, a lifetime PTA member and very active in her church Calvary Baptist. She was devoted to raising her three children and being a loving wife to Larry. She went to work almost 20 years ago at Parker-Chase Child Development Center in Carrollton, Texas where she was the lead infant teacher. Margaret was the most caring, loving, and giving person that anyone could ever meet or come in contact with. She loved each child that she kept in her room as if they were her own. Every parent that came in contact with her was grateful for her love and care for their child(ren). Her heart was full when she was with these precious children. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, M. Catherine and E. Lee. Funeral Service for Margaret will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, December 5, 2014 at The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home with visitation 2 hours prior to the service in the chapel. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
