Margaret Taylor's Obituary
TAYLOR, MAGRARET is preceded in death by husband, Corydon “Don” Stevenson Taylor; daughter, Terry Jayne Taylor; Son, Corydon “Cory” Stevenson Taylor, Jr.; parents Carl Bert McAllister and Dora Cecelia McAllister; brothers, Bert, Bill, Bob, Dick and Jack McAllister; sisters, Ann King and Patricia McGrew. After years of working in the insurance and banking industries, Margaret retired from full-time employment in 2003 at the age of 81. She is one of those rare individuals who not only loved her life’s work, but was loved by all who came to know her. She had an absolute passion for the Texas Rangers and when not watching them on television, regularly followed them on sports radio to get the latest scoop on all-things-Rangers. Survived is by daughter, Katherine “Kathy” Hale of Gladewater TX; sons, Jay Corydon Taylor, II and Jeffery Lee Taylor of Dallas TX; grandson, Steve Hale and wife Sharon of Justin TX; grandson, Robert Hale and wife Chandra of Celina TX; great-grandsons, Justin and Hunter Hale of Justin TX and Robbie Hale of Celina TX; great-granddaughters, Ashley Hale of Justin TX and Madeline Hale of Celina TX; sister, Ida Carter of Colorado Springs, CO; cousin and best friend, Ellie Testman of Lillian, AL; and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852.
