John and Donna and family,
I was sad to learn of your mother's death but what a full and loving life she had! I was John's first grade teacher at George W. Truett many years ago. John, you were moved into my classroom and your mother was not happy about it to put it mildly! She had wanted you to have Miss Biggerstaff, an older more experienced teacher. You were one of my smartest pupils and very well-prepared for first grade, thanks to your mother. She and I became good friends and I was very fond of her. I last saw her at a funeral and we had a good visit. I am so happy to know that she continued to have a long and full life.
