Margie Louise Browder's Obituary
BROWDER, MARGIE LOUISE FITZGERALD born June 22, 1929 in Sulphur Springs, TX and passed away February 5, 2013 in McKinney, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Patricia McCracken and her sister, Leila Delois Howard. Margie is survived by her husband of 65 years, Joseph Browder, Jr.; daughters, Sandra Hightower and partner, Pam O’Neal, Sherry Poe and husband, Frank and Sheila Thomason and husband, Michael; grandchildren: David Hightower and wife, Lisa, Janna Griffiths and husband, Kenneth, Joseph and wife, Ericka and Toby and wife, Erin; great grandchildren: Audrey and Wesley Hightower, Emory, Aidan, Kayleigh and Barrett Thomason. Margie attended Crozier Tech High School and was a cheerleader where she met and dated Joseph Browder, whom she later married. She loved to quilt and cross stitch and loved her family and enjoyed having Christmas and Thanksgiving at their home. She was a member of Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church since 1960. She was very active with her friends, counseling at church camp, she was a Sunday school teacher and also loved mission trips. Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 7, 2013 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Friday, February 8 at 10:00 AM, at Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church, 9810 La Prada Drive, Dallas, TX 75228.
