Margie Mae Methvin's Obituary
Born April 28, 1934 in Decatur, Texas; passed away May 27, 2009 in Decatur, Texas. Margie was a dispatcher for Texas Instrument; she is preceded in death by her parents, William and Freida Pitts. She is survived by her husband, Johnny D. Methvin; son, Griff Methvin and wife Alicia; grandsons, James and Allan; sisters, Jean Warren, Faye Reed, Billie Oldham, Carolyn Karr and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Sunday, May 31, 2009 at Restland Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held in Margie’s honor at 1:00 pm, Monday, June 1, 2009 in Restland Memorial Park, Veteran’s Garden II.
