Mrs. Margie Marie (Prior) Tenison's Obituary
Margie Marie Prior Tenison died peacefully on September 27, 2015. She was born in rural Rusk County on February 5, 1923, and lived in East Texas until 1958. In 1958, the family moved to Richardson, Texas, where she worked for many years at Citizens State Bank. In 2005 she moved to Wichita Falls, Texas, where she resided until her death. Mrs. Tenison was preceded in death by her father and mother, Lucious Turner Prior and Jennie Mills Prior of Henderson, Texas, her sister Mildred Prior Jones of Henderson, Texas, and her husband Lawrence J. Tenison of Richardson, Texas. She is survived by, children, daughter Lynn Tenison Stevens of Holliday, Texas; son, Larry Turner Tension and his wife Ruth Zachary Tenison of Plano; grandchildren: Stephanie Tenison Hallum of Houston, Stacey Tenison Doyle and husband Jason of Rockwall, Denise Sheppard Martinez and husband Abel of Stephenville, Elisa Sheppard Spears and husband James of Wichita Falls; great grandchildren:Dakotah Martinez of Stephenville, Sierrah Martinez of Stephenville, Matthew Spears of Wichita Falls, Katie Spears of Wichita Falls, John Tenison Spears of Wichita Falls, Hannah Spears of Wichita Falls, Sarah Spears of Wichita Falls, Moses Spears of Wichita Falls, Mike Hallum of Houston, Madison Doyle of Rockwall; and one sister Ruby Prior Hand of Gladewater, Texas. A private graveside service will be held at Restland Memorial Park on September 29, 2015. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243 at Restland Road. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
