Margie Jo Vail's Obituary
Margie was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 70 years, Lucian T. Vail; her sons, Gary Vail and Tommy Vail and her daughter, Donna Traurig. She is survived by her daughter, Patsy Jo Lafleur and husband, Richard; granddaughters, Darla Herman and husband, Mark; Tammy Wooten and husband, Terry; Jana Shaw and husband, Barron; Tonya Snyder and husband, Dwayne; Jessica Mather and husband, Jaime; grandson, Bobby Werber, and 11 great grandchildren. Margie is also survived by a dear sister-in-law, Maurice Wilson; brother-in-law, Jessie Vail; and daughter-in-law, Phyllis Brown. The family would also like to thank the staff at Signature Pointe on the Lake health care, and a particular caregiver and friend, Ollie Kolley and friend caregiver Marilyn Poore Gondolff. In lieu of flowers, recognizing Margie and Lucian’s lifelong example of honoring, loving, and giving care to others before themselves or donations to a charity of choice or Disabled American Veterans in honor of Margie’s husband, Lucian. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Restland Wildwood Chapel with visitation 1 hour prior to the service in the chapel. Pallbearers will be Terry Wooten, Dwayne Snyder, Brandon Wooten, Grant Snyder and Rodney Vail. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
