Marguerite Kingsley's Obituary
Marguerite Elizabeth Day Kingsley, age 99, passed into her Heavenly Home on Saturday, July 15, 2023. She was born in Dallas, Texas, to her parents, James and Hettie Day. Marguerite was a lifetime member of the First Assembly of God Church, being saved and baptized at a very young age.
Marguerite married Clarence Sparks Kingsley on Feb. 16, 1946. They celebrated 61 years of marriage.
She was a loving mother of four children, Ron, Donna, Sharon (deceased) and Richard.
Marguerite worked 10 years as a switchboard operator for Southwestern Bell. She served God teaching Children’s Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and leading Women’s Ministry for 60+ years. Marguerite also sang in the choir and performed on the radio in a gospel group called “The Victory Trio”.
Marguerite leaves behind: her children – Ron (w/Carolyn), Donna, and Richard (w/Tawny); a daughter-in-law, Linda Kingsley; a son-in-law, Dan Wall (w/Patti); five grandchildren – Carrie, Michelle (w/Andre), Courtney, Aaron (w/Shanna), and Matthew; nine great-grandchildren - Justin, Parker, Macy, Emersen, Chad, Trace, Ayden, Shayla and London; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Marguerite had a faith that never wavered. She will be forever missed and remembered for the faith filled legacy she left us all. An Eternal Love, to be shared openly and treasured for always.

Marguerite's family will receive friends at Restland Funeral Home on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 6:00PM until 8:00PM.
Funeral services will commence at 10:00AM at the Dallas First Assembly of God Church. Interment will be at Restland Memorial Park.
