Marguerite Phillips Ryan 1933-2009 died Friday morning in a Richardson hospital after battling renal cell cancer. She was born October 10, 1933, in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Elmer and Elva Phillips, their only child. Marguerite attend Read Obituary
Marguerite was such a pleasure to know, we all enjoyed her in our water aerobics class and were sadden to learn that she was once again fighting cancer. She fought such a hard battle with courage and was an inspiration to all of us. I am once again fighting my own battle and just hope that I have the courage that Marguerite displayed and set by example for all of us. We were so lucky to call her friend!
What a joy it has been to have Marguerite touch my life through these many years. She was more like a sister to me. I will always cherish the times I spent with her and with you, her family. From a young age and finally to now, she has been a sweet and cherished cousin and friend. Our thoughts are with you, Bill, and four sons, of whom she was so proud, her grandchildren Rebecca and James and her daughter-in-laws. May God bless you all for having her as wife, mother, grandmother and mother-in-law and friend.
