Maria Irma de la Fuente, born April 5, 1957, in McAllen, Texas, to Irma Salinas Ochoa and Jose Guadalupe Ochoa, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Irma graduated from PSJA High School in Read Obituary
Irma was a dear friend and an incredible team member. She was a member of our PPC/Magellan group dating back to the 1990's. She was one of four crew members that bravely flew out to New York City and responded to the 911 Twin Towers bombing conducting multiple CISDs after the disaster occurred.
Irma helped our group transition from the PPC/Magellan staff office model to the Diversity Counseling model that we have today. We could not have done that without her and are indebted to her for her influence and contributions.
We all loved her very much and will miss her dearly.
