Maria Rosa Gaona's Obituary
Maria Rosa Gaona was born on August 1, 1937 in Alamo, Texas and passed away on October 14, 2011 in Mesquite, Texas. Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Roman Gaona Sr.; her parents, Jesusa and Luis Corpus; her son-in-law, Tom Montez; and her granddaughter, Amariss Rebecca Gutierrez. Maria is survived by her children, Roman Luis, Jr., Rogelio, Magdaleno, Rodolfo, Johnny, Rachel, Esmeralda, and Christine Gaona, Rebecca Montez, and Rita Gutierrez. Maria is also survived by four brothers and nine sisters, twelve grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. There will be a Rosary at 7:00pm on Tuesday, October 18th at Restland Memorial Chapel. Services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, October 19th at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3030 Gus Thomasson Road, Dallas, TX 75219.
