Ms. Maria DeJesus Reyes' Obituary
Maria J. Reyes, 83, of Dallas, Texas was born June 16th, 1939 in Monclova, Quawila, Mexico to Raphael Cerrato & Augustina Cerrato and passed away on December 29th, 2022.
She married Gilbert Reyes in Mexico and renewed their vows in 1971 in McKinney, Texas.
Maria was a homemaker who wholeheartedly loved her family & her faith. She was an avid bingo player and always had the best luck. She enjoyed collecting angel figuringes & took pride in having an immaculately clean home. She was always adamant about feeding guests, regardless of if they had already eaten. We will cherish all of the moments we each had with her.
Maria is survived by her husband, Gilbert Reyes; her son, Rudy Romero & his wife, Alison; son Robert Romero; grandchildren, Jessica, Dustin, Justin, Jesse, Elizabeth, Steven, & Suzy; as well as her two great-granddaughters, Jaylie & Ashlyn.
A Service will be held at the Wildwood Chapel of Restland Funeral Home at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, January 11th, 2023. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior. Interment will take place at 2:30 PM the same day at Restland’s Court of Reflection.
