Mariamma Simon (76), a loving mother, grand mother and a faithful servant to God, who led a true Christian life was called to heaven on April 30th, 2019.She was born on February 4, 1943 to late Mr. M.V Mathai and late Mrs. Saramma Mathai, Melekuttu House, Mallappally East. She married love of her life Mr. C.V Simon, Chakkumkal House, Perumpetty on January, 1968. Family Migrated to US in 1990 to join her siblings in Dallas, Texas.She was survived by her husband Mr. V.V Simon, children Mrs. Suni Thomas, Mr. Sony Simon and Mrs. Siny Alexander, her son in laws Mr. Thomas Cherian and Mr. Prince Alexander and daughter in law Annie Simon(Lincy). She took extreme pride in her seven grandchildren Micheal, Denzel, Joshua, Jason, Jaine, Johanna and Leah.Mummy is preceded in death by her siblings late Mr. M.M Varghese, late MR. Mathew Mathew, Mr. Thomas Mathew, late Mrs. Achamma Daniel, Mrs. Saramma Varkey, Mr. M. M Mathai and Mrs. Aleyamma Varughese (Molly).She was an active choir member of Holy Immanuel CSI church before her wedding and she continued to actively participate in Jerusalem Marthoma Church Preumpetty Choir, served as a Sevika Sangam secretary, and a long tern Sunday School Teacher.Mummy was the light and happiness of our family. Was a woman of good will and had great will power. She loved her husband, children and grand children dearly. Family and friends were mummy’s passion and delight. She was kind hearted, good sense of humor and always with a smiling face. Her positive outlook on life was inspiring to all those who met her. She will be truly missed by her loved ones and friends.
