Born November 13, 1925 in Dallas, Texas to Herman and Marian Tanner and passed away April 3, 2015 in Rowlett, Texas. Preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Bernard N. Barnes Jr.; her grandson, Micah Barnes; and her beloved dog, Happy. Marian is survived by sons, Bernard Barnes III and wife, Paula, Tim Barnes and wife, Nancy; grandchildren, Jennifer Simmons and husband, Craig, Daniel Barnes and wife, Candace, Alex Barnes; and great grandchildren, Charlie Simmons, Alison Simmons, Lucas Barnes. Services for Marian will take place at 3:00, Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
