Marian Lee Cavins' Obituary
Marian Lee Miller Cavins was born May 31, 1932 in Trinidad, Colorado and passed away July 20, 2014 in Frisco, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lillian McKinney Miller and William Augustus “Gus” Miller. Marian is survived by her husband, Edward Michael Cavins; children: Daniel E. Byrd, Timothy M. Byrd, Stacy J. Chennault, Mark W. Byrd and Dave A Byrd; and ten grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother William “Bill” Augustus Miller, Jr. Marian graduated in 1949 from West Texas High School in Canyon, Texas and moved to Dallas in 1965. She put herself through secretarial school and devoted her life to raising her five children, and will be missed by her loving family and many friends. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 12:30 PM, Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Restland Wildwood Chapel with interment immediately following the service in the Court of Reflection, Restland Memorial Park.
